Mr Moore has a long history in the water industry commencing in 1970.  He was the Project Manager for the establishment of the Water Corporation in 1996 when he joined the Executive Team as a General Manager and held the position of Chief Operating Officer between October 2006 and June 2017 when he retired from the Water Corporation.  He subsequently has become the CEO of the Construction Contractors Association of WA and undertakes consulting work through his own consultancy. Mr Moore has a wealth of experience across all sectors of the water industry and a particular interest in governance issues. He also has experience in the major civil infrastructure delivery. He attended the Harvard University Advanced Management Program in 1998. In 2016 Mr Moore was awarded the Public Service Medal for his service to the public of Western Australia and the Water Industry.  Mr Moore is a past President of the Australian Water Association and was recently award the Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his service to the industry.

Claire graduated from the University of Nottingham in the UK with a 1st Class BEng (Hons) in Mining Engineering, where in her final year she was appointed President of the University Mining Society. 

Throughout her career Claire has worked for both contractors and consultants in South Africa, Hong Kong, Turkey and the UK.  Moving from engineering roles into project management and ultimately prior to moving to Australia Claire was Head of Bidding for Amey Consulting (part of Ferrovial) with responsibility for setting the strategic direction of the projects pursued.

Since moving to WA in 2012 Claire has worked for John Holland before joining Laing O’Rourke in 2021 as Pre Contracts Leader.

Claire has been an active member of the CCA committee since 2017, with the role as the CCA WARRCMIAG representative from 2020.  Claire was appointed the CCA president in October 2021, becoming the first female in the role.
